A Notice of Action arrives in dense agency language, with real deadlines attached, and missing one can mean losing services while an appeal is underway. Legal help is scarce, and the path ahead (an informal conversation, mediation, a formal hearing, and what comes after) is opaque to almost everyone going through it for the first time. Most families simply don't know what to do first.

Care Rights Navigator reads the notice with you and explains, in plain language, what changed, why, and when a response is due, including time-sensitive options like keeping services in place during an appeal. From there, it helps you gather your records and put what you want to say into your own words, at your own pace. It stays alongside you through the whole journey: from the first notice through mediation, a formal hearing, and the options that follow, up to a Superior Court petition.
The app prepares drafts that you edit and own. It supports IHSS, Regional Center, IEP, and CDSS fair hearing matters in California.
